If you’re attracted to the farmhouse style, you’re not alone! It has become incredibly popular, and with good reason. There’s something beautifully organic about it. But it can sometimes be a struggle to design around it. So I thought I’d create this post on farmhouse color palettes to help!

One of the most identifiable pieces of this trend are highland cow or farm animal art. The highland cow has even found it’s way into other style trends. But not everyone knows how to incorporate it into their home design. The first advice I always give is, start with the colors. Even with a black and white art canvas, you want colors that compliment the theme.

So, here are some farmhouse color palettes, with an emphasis on highland cows, to get you started!

Farmhouse color palettes have a very obvious earthy or natural feel to them. But that doesn’t mean they’re bland or boring. As much as I love the highland cow, I couldn’t resist throwing in a few other options for you guys. Hopefully you’re as inspired by these color palettes as I was!
