Park Scavenger Hunt

Free Summer FUN for Your Littles!

Hi friends! I hope your summer has been filled with happy days so far! If it’s going anything like mine, you may be running out of ideas for entertaining your little ones. Here is a FREE Park Scavenger Hunt to help with that.

Parks are a great way of getting out of the house and burning some pent up energy! But (as a mama) I can get burned out going to the same park every time and doing the same endless “push me on the swing until your arms fall off” game. I wanted to find a way for everyone to have fun, and maybe even make our park trips a little educational. So I came up with these fun park scavenger hunt printables.

I intentionally designed these to work in nearly any park scenario, even if some parks would be more challenging than others! If you only have one or two nearby parks, you can try finding different answer on each visit.

Disclaimer: I’m not sure why this park we visited in South Carolina had an alligator statue that looked SO realistic!! But my little one loved it and it provided a lot of creativity for our scavenger hunt.

Here’s how your free park scavenger hunt printables work.

All you have to do is print them off and head out to the park. That’s all you need! Just you, your little, and a pen. Once there, put the name of the park and the date on the bottom of each page, and then start filling in answers!

The first page is great for little ones who are in the sensory stages, and the second for older little ones who are working on learning the alphabet, spelling, phonics!

There is no limit to these Park Scavenger Hunt printables! You can repeat local parks or try to visit a new park each time and compare your park scavenger hunt sheets after each one. Keep scrolling for the link to print your own and get started!
